Hello,

1) I'm unable to use the Visual Composer theme builder, as an option when creating new or editing exiting 'content templates' in toolset.

2) I have attached Example1.png and Example2.png, showing where other page builders appear as an option for me when working on other sites.

3) I have attached Example3.png showing the absence of Visual Composer, as an editing option.

4) In Example3.png you'll see only the 'block editor' option is present. When clicked, you're taken to edit the template using the block editor. From there, I try to manually switch to the 'classic editor' (for which I have enabled switching between editors in the wordpress / user settings ) ... in the hope that if I'm able to get into the 'classic editor' screen, it will then (as it does for posts and pages) show me the button to then switch to 'Visual Composer' front-end builder.

5) So, once I attempt to switch to the 'classic editor', I receive the following console errors in my browser. See Example4.png attached.

6) I have created user credentials for you to access the site. Please see the attached support-credentials.png for access.

7) I am the web-developer for the site owner who owns this Toolset license, please CC or directly contact me with your response at wyldesites@gmail.com

Thank you,
MikeW

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Unfortunately - we do not have any way to cc the forum reply, we can reply here only.

Here is the official Doc that shows how you can use the WP Bakery page builder (Visual Composer) with Toolset:

Can you please tell me what version of plugin/theme you are using as well as share the zip of that plugin/theme.

In addition to that - Could you please send me debug information that will help us to investigate your issue.

I've created the following sandbox site and you can auto-login to it using the following link:
- hidden link

With the above sandbox site I've only added Toolset plugins and WPBakery Page Builder (formally Visual Composer) plugin version 7.3.

I've created the following content template and I can see the button to switch to the "WPBakery Page Builder":
- hidden link

Are you using the same WPBakery page builder plugin? If yes:
In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure there is no conflict between the third-party plugins you use:

Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

Minesh,

Thanks for your reply, but I don't think you saw my private message. I sent you exactly what I'm using and it's NOT (WP Bakery version of Visual Composer) it's just STAND-ALONE Visual Composer - I even included the files. You can even see in my original request screenshots that I have OTHER page builders working with Toolset, just not the one I'm using right now. Please go back and read this and download what I'm using:

--------------------------------- from private message on 1/3/23 ------------------------------

1) Thanks for the additional info, but I already looked at those guides before I submitted this ticket, and I'm not using 'WPBakery Page Builder' (formerly Visual Composer) --- VisualComposer is STILL a stand-alone product and looks very different than WPBakery - see attached screenshot of the plugin info of what I'm using.

2) I am also sending a ZIP of the exact version of VisualComposer stand-alone, that I'm using, so you can install it yourself and see the difference between that an 'WP Bakery' version. (replying here won't allow me to upload a ZIP file)

3) I have also included in that ZIP file a dump of the Toolset Debug log as a text file, as I'm unable to upload a .txt file here as well.

DOWNLOAD all above mentioned files:
hidden link

4) Note: For the actual theme - I'm just using the basic WordPress 2024 theme (as a child theme). There are no other pre-made themes, so this should be fairly straightforward.

Let me know if you need anything else, I already attached a screenshot of credentials to our site in my original request, so you can access our website backend.

Thank you,
MikeW

I checked with the visual composer stand alone plugin and I confirm that you can not build the content template using visual composer builder while using visual composer plugin.

I checked with concern person and I got the news that we only support WP Bakery page builder not visual composer.

The only way for you I suggest you should use WP Bakery Page Builder plugin instead of Visual Composer.
