Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to add a view shortcode to the tabs element in Elementor.
When you visit the homepage, you will see a view - which is great. But I am trying to add the view within the tab element under Berry Agendas and minutes - is this possible?
Is there any documentation that you are following?
Is there a similar example that we can see?
What is the link to your site?

I'm also trying to limit the number of rows displayed - the limit feature is set to "1" but is displaying all results ...

Hi Steve,
Thank you for contacting our support forum.
Would you mind providing me with a screenshot of the area on the backend where you added the view ?
I suspect that this area doesn't allow for shortcodes. Is it a WYSIWYG area?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane
I know what wsywig is - but not understanding your question really.
This is a view - which can be shown as a view element within a section in Elementor.
Essentially - I have created a post type - with a number of rows of data.
I don't mind sharing access to my sandbox site if this will speed up analysis.

Hi Steve,
Yes please share the sandbox site. It will help to get through much faster.
Thanks,
Shane
Will do - is there a safe way to share credentials?
Shane,
Is it safe to drop credentials here? Or somewhere else?
Any chance we can move on this?

Hi Steve,
I seem to have not enabled the private fields then my shift closed.
I'm here now and the fields have been enabled.
Thanks,
Shane
Shane,
Looking at the FTP folder - this is wrong.
This should read -:
hidden link and strip off the //home* - you can do this from the browser address bar - just checked.

Hi Steve,
It seems the elementor editor doesn't get the view buttons added to it automatically.
What I did was to get the shortcode [wpv-view name="berry-agendas-and-minutes"] and then add it to the tab manually.
However it seems your view doesn't return any results at the moment.
Thanks,
Shane
I must have messed something up in the view while testing - it was working.
I am about 90 mins out so I will respond then.
Regarding limiting the number of rows displayed ... Just looking at what I have set up ... It should work right?
I deleted the view and recreated it.
Update -:
1) Section below image shows ALL rows that are present in CPT ... Why?
2) Tab has that view - but is also showing all rows.
How do we limit this?

Hi Steve,
It actually is being limited to 1 post but I see that you Post has a Layout. See Screenshot.
This is why multiple items is being displayed.
Thanks,
Shane
Ok - understood - that the limit is for posts ( I thought it would be rows rather than posts ).
So ... What would be the preferred solution to show just one row of information in a particular row?
I would assume then, taking those rows out of the CPT - but adding them where?
The gameplan is this -:
1) Have a view that would show all rows / posts on the Agenda page ( check )
2) Have another view for the homepage tab, that just shows the latest post / row of Agendas and minutes.
