remove template block when not used.JPG

If you use the assistant in the loop editor you can create a template for the loop item. Which is nice because it seemingly is a content template that you can use in other places and views as well.

So if you decide later on to NOT use the loop item template created by the assistant there is seemingly NO way to remove it. You cannot even get rid of the input box not can you delete it in the content template overview table.

Am I missing something here? I like my views and templates clean and tidy. This feature creates a lot of unnecessary unused bulk. Thanks in advance.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

You need to use the Loop Wizard again and you should make sure that you should uncheck the checkbox "Use content template to group the fields in this group".

And finish the wizard and then you will not see that content template.
