Ok. I have two options set for a sorting field in a view.
1. Field - Registration
2. Field - Airframe MSN
however, on the front end of my site, it is showing 3 sorting field options and is default sorting to this third option
1. Registration Field
2. Airframe MSN
3. Post Date. <== default sorting on page load.
Any ideas what might cause this? I have deleted the sorting field and re-added a new one and the same thing occurs.
I have screenshots showing the front end view and the. back end view
(this is happening in a CPT display Template or whatever it's called in the Toolset Dashboard)
NOTE: This only occurs on the initial page load. If you select one of the expected sorting options, when the AJAX content reloads, the POST DATE option disappears.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Can you please share problem URL where you are displaying the view as well as admin access details.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
This is a known issue to us and already reported and we have internal ticket for it but there is no ETA on it when the official fix will made available.
However - the good news is that we have workaround that will help you to fix this issue. The workaround is we have to set the Ordering Settings in the View block and select the same field as option that you added for sorting instead of post date.
