We have a view that has been working for the longest time and now it has stopped working. The page is located here hidden link

The view displays as

[wpv-view name=”snippet-display” snipid=”26771″]

on the page when it should display the content. The view works just fine on other pages. I am wondering if there ay new issues with using Elementor and Toolset? The odd thing I see on the front end is it appears maybe Elementor is changing quotes to smart quotes?

Thank you for any info you can share.

Hi Sammut,

Thank you for getting in touch.

The issue could be because of your quotation marks used in the shortcode. Try adding the shortcode like this.

[wpv-view name="snippet-display" snipid="26771"]

Please try this and let me know the results.

Thanks,
Shane

Yes, thank you so much. We already tried that. What it appears is that the WYSIWYG is converting the quotes. This seems to only be happening with toolset shortcodes though.

Hi Sammut,

Why not try using their shortcodes widget.

Please let me know if this helps. If not then i've activated the private fields so that you can provide the credentials for me to check on the site.

Thanks

Yes, Thank you, we tried that too. The widget does work, but we need this shortcode to render inline. Elementor says nothing changed on their end. so this is odd.

Hi Sammut,

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website and the page so that I can check on this issue for you ?
