I am trying to:
Set up a view which lists a set of Policy PDFs with my desired stylings

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
The same result as my view on hidden link

Instead, I got:
A list of my PDF's with the incorrect stylings, as if it is defaulting to a standard WordPress template.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - the following is a page where page template is assigned:
=> hidden link

I checked the following link - this is a post type archive for your post type policies.
=> hidden link

I suspect the template used is the difference that is why you are not seeing the same view as per the newsletters page.

What if you create a view that lists all the posts for the post type policies and create a new page and add the view to it and check if that help you able to display results as required otherwise you need to check your themes archive template or I need to check how you configure your archive page.
