Tell us what you are trying to do? match type field to logged in user

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? hidden link

I have a conditional in a view and want to show content based on the logged in user.

This only works if the Display Name (WP) is the same as the username. Otherwise, if the Display Name is the nickname or first/last name, it grabs that for the username. How can I target the username of the logged in user regardless of the other user settings?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Do you mean the field you have "member-listing-management-user" holds the same value as the WordPress username and you want to check if WordPress username equal to custom field value "member-listing-management-user" then you want to display the edit link?
