[Resolved] View filter to filter on child taxonomy terms

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I see you changed the Custom search setting to "AJAX results update when visitors change any filter values"

But you will require to keep using the Custom search option "Full page refresh when visitors click on the search button" as your case is not simple and we are depend on the URL params.

That is too bad.

Looking at this issue now Minesh, what do you think, now you understand what I want.
And we accopmplished this in the end (almost).

Is my request so special?
Just being able to filter on child terms on a top level category?

Seems to me a rather common wish.
Is there a better way maybe? Did I start out wrong?

As you want to use AJAX filter - I've adjusted the code I've added to "Custom Code" section to it should work based on AJAX request.

Can you please confirm it works at your end now.
