[Resolved] View/Content template debug popup

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The problem here is that the user mentions that the view's debug popup window is active when their logged in and viewing a page that has a view on it.

Solution:

To disable this you will need to go to Toolset -> Settings -> Frontend and under the Views Debugging settings you should be able to see the option to enable/disable the debugging popup.

toolset views error.png

Hello all,

A popup titled 'Views/Content template debug information' appears each time I view a page that has a view embedded in it. I've attached a screenshot exhibiting the behaviour. I only see this if I'm logged in as an admin.

Here is a public URL to one of the pages in question: hidden link

Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot?

Kind regards,
James

Thanks for the steps on disabling that! Q: is it presenting me with an error that requires my intervention, or is this just informational in nature?

Hi James,

Having the debug popup doesn't require any additional intervention. It is generally used by support or site admins to check whether their views are operating as intended.

It allows you to see what queries are being passed to the database from Views.

Thanks,
Shane
