I have been having difficulty finding out if there is an easy "built-in" way to have subscribers to my blog upload a picture for use as their user pic (i.e. in comments) instead of their WP gravatar. I found a plugin called WP User Avatar but I'm reluctant to start using it until I know for certain there is no way to use Toolset for having users upload their own profile pics that would then come up in comments throughout the site instead of using their WP gravatar.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - there is no such feature exists to automatically setup the uploaded image as your profile image.

However, we have following Docs available which may help you to understand how you can customize user profile.
