I used toolset for website hidden link and must make a new design. I like to ask if it is possible to show dynamic fields from toolset in elementor instead of toolset views
Is there any documentation that you are following?
no
Is there a similar example that we can see? hidden link hidden link
You can use elementor dynamic content option to retrieve our Toolset custom field values. Here is a documentation from Elementor that should be able guide you on how to do this.
Well that is same document i had 1 year ago and did not work. Really hope it works now as i test it this weekend and just now it just dont work. i see the fields but nothing is showing.
From your screenshot I can see that your fields are in fact there.
Not sure I understand the issue completely, however what you can do is to provide me with admin access so that I can have a look to see what happens when you try to display a field using the elementor dynamic option.
I'm a bit confused, as I checked the post here. hidden link
I'm not seeing any custom fields on the post edit screen.
I'm assuming that the custom fields are on the related post, if so then No you won't be able to pull these fields with elementor. You will need to access the child post through the relationship on the view and then display them with this view.
Thanks for checking. Now i don´t understand 🙂 As it does not have to do with relation post. But the "employee" / author of the post.
This is a " normal" post and with relationship one of the custom posttype "werknemers" (employees) is added. I need to show this data (what now is done with toolset view) with elementor dynamic.
So show image, email, phone and other data from hidden link in the post.
hidden link hidden link toolset
Using the post template hidden link
So nothing to do with related post (for the moment)
Is that possible with toolset ?
So show a post and the " author" of the post (that is done with relation)
I want to pull the employee(s) on the post. This employees are based on a category and shoot be shown in the post. So in other words if the employees have category ABC (can be 1 or more) it will show in the post just as now done with toolset but then with elementor features to create the design.
Here you have example with 2 employees. hidden link
Again it works now with toolset "view" but like to use elementor to make the design instead of what toolset is offering to create the look.
The problem is actually where you want to display the Employee data. Since from your link you want to display the employee information on this post here. hidden link
You will need to use our views plugin. Elementor is able to display fields that are directly on the post itself but not if those fields are in a relationship post.
So based on your setup you will need to continue using views to display the Employee's post and fields on the post below. hidden link
I hope this provides a little more clarity for you.
Thanks,
Shane
So it just not work "completely" where i had from day 1 feeling that you could use "all dynamic fields" but on lot of places you need to make the views with CSS and coding. (for related item for example)
