[Resolved] Using quotations to isolate search terms

This support ticket is created 3 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

So I've noticed that search filters in Toolset don't have a way to isolate terms using quotes for exact matches. Like if I search "Ys" for the game title, it doesn't respect the quotes. Is there a way to implement this?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

There is no native feature available using which you can perform the exact match search but there is a way you can achieve this.

However - there is a workaround to search for the exact match, it is not based on the quotes but whatever keyword you will input it will try to find the exact match for it. Here is the example that may help you:
