[Resolved] User’s can’t upload images

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The problem here is that the user has a user form to update his users profiles but he is unable to upload images using his image field

Solution:

In this case the user had not set the correct permissions for the roles so that they can have access to the media gallery to upload their images.

Please ensure that if your users are uploading images that their roles have the appropriate permissions for them to do so.

My users have the facility to update their profile on the site, but they can't upload an image to replace their logo.

I think this is an access/permissions issue, but I'm not sure how to resolve it

Hi James,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Could you perform a small test for me and let me know the results?

Temporarily disable the Access plugin and let me know if you are still experiencing this issue.

Thanks,
Shane

Seems the media section of the access plugin had removed the media access. Should have checked it properly first!

Thanks
