user with granted permissions is not able to edit other posts

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do? allow an user configurated with toolset access permissions to edit other users posts

we configured all permissions and granted all access to other posts but the user still sees "not allowed to edit post"

There are a number of issues similar to what you report:

Please check that list if the issue you describe is solved already.

At least 4 of them seem to match:

This because it's due to other plugins.

Hi Beda,
I read the links but the problem is that the user with a role created in Access named "NewsContributor" is not able to edit the normal posts (not CPT posts) of other editors (we have many posts made by an admin that shall be edited by the News Contributor user.

Any guess about that problem? Do you need any additional info?

Please double-check to be sure the NewsContributor User has published at least one standard Post. If so, then I'll need to take a closer look. I will activate private reply fields here.

Can you provide the login credentials for the ConsultingNews User? I would like to look in the wp-admin area with their account.
