I am following https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/cred-training-course/part-6-building-forms-creating-user-accounts/ to create a page with a cred user form registration.

I have created a new user group, with some custom fields. I set the permissions to all the wordpress groups (Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor...) . After i save the group, it disappears. The user field group list is empty. If i try to insert a custom user field on the CRED create user form, i can´t access the custom user fields i have just created... If i try to insert a new group with the same name, it returns me an error that the group already exists.

Can you help me, please?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - I just checked with my local test install and I can see the user fields group as well as I can access the user fields on CRED form.

In order to minimize the cause of the issue - Could you please try following basic debug steps:
1)
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

2)
Could you please activate WP_DEBUG from wp-config.php file and send me possible errors for review.

3)
If #1 and #2 does not help:

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
