I have Toolset Views 3.1.2 installed. I see there's a newer version but unlike Toolset Types I'm not given the option to update the plugin. How do I update Toolset Views?

Hi Steve,

Thank you for getting in touch.

This is because our Views plugin is now in Legacy and was removed from our automated installer. You can still download the update manually from the link below.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Okay. So excuse my having missed out, but is there a tutorial or documentation on how to upgrade a site with Views components to current modules? Or is everything in Types now? What happens if I just delete views? Do I lose existing templates and views?

Hi Steven,

If you install our Blocks plugin which is the replacement for views , you won't experience any data loss all your existing views will still function as normal.

The only difference with Views and Blocks is that the Block editor comes enabled by default. Views and Blocks are essentially the same plugin.

You do have the option to enable the classic editor in our Blocks plugin by going to Toolset -> Settings and scrolling to Editing Experience.

Thanks,
Shane
