Updating Types - Toolset

This support ticket is created 5 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have the free Types plugin installed on this site which as we know is not compatible with Gutenberg and WP 5.

What do I have to do in order to update the site using the toolset plugin. I only need Types but seems I need to install the entire toolset in order to keep using

I have active licence for the toolset.

What is the link to your site?

Okay, I deleted free version of Types and activated the now commercial version of Types.

All my CPT entries are there and custom fields however when you I go to view a CPT I get 404 page not found.

I will happily provide WP admin access to the staging site but not sure if this post in private or public.

Hi there

The differences between Types 2 and Types 3 shouldn't produce 404 errors, that is unexpected.

First, try re-saving your permalinks.

Second, double-check the options for your CPT. Are you using normal WordPress rewrite rules, or have you set up custom rewrite rules?
