I'm trying to update Toolset Views on our dev site that is behind our firewall and cannot communicate out. I'm looking for directions for updating it manually, if that is still an option.

You can download a zip of the latest version from toolset.com/account/downloads.

A new feature in WordPress 5.5 is the ability to overwrite existing plugins without deleting first, which sounds like you should be able to go to Plugins > Add New and use the upload button to upload the zip file without having to delete the current version.

I haven't tried it yet, if it is not obvious delete the current version from the list of plugins first. (You'll only be deleting the plugin PHP files, not the settings etc.)
