Updates failing

This support ticket is created 6 years ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello thank you for considering my request for support.

I am trying to: Update Access Plugin and receive the following error:

Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Trying to Update the Types Plugin I receive:

Update Failed: Download failed. Not Found

trying to update the Views Plugin I receive:

Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

You can either update manually (by following these steps https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/) or try again after pressing a few times "Check for updates" in the dashboard.

This issue is due to a possibly outdated PclZip version on your server, which we adjusted on the latest releases but to get those, most likely you will need to (uniquely) perform a manual update.
