I am trying to: Run updates for Toolset Types are removing CSS and additional plugin edits we have added to style the theme and content. How do we make sure that we are running the most up to date Toolset version without losing our work. Also we are having issues with error messages when we submit the forms.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: If we run the update we will lose the work again

Instead, I got: https://toolset.com/forums/forum/general-and-pre-sales-questions/

Hi Matt

Your description of the problem is a bit generic for me to give you any useful advice.

You should not expect to lose custom CSS or plugin settings when updating Toolset plugins, and to understand what is happening I would need specific examples of things that are being lost when you make specified updates (e.g. what plugins, what versions).

You should certainly always make a backup before updating plugins just in case any problems arise.

Note that with Toolset when updates are available you should update all plugins at the same time because there are often common components that need to working on the same version.

If you can give me more details I may be able to help.
