Update to "lite"?

This support ticket is created 6 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: update Views 2.6.1 to 2.6.2.
on the WordPress Updates page it says "You have version 2.6.1 installed. Update to 2.6.2. View version 2.6.2 details."

When I click the details link it says:
"Views Lite is a simplified version of the full Views plugin, which is the most powerful and easy-to-use Query Builder for WordPress. Views Lite, lets you create custom lists of content and display them anywhere in the site."

In the Changelog it says: "2.6.1-lite
This is the first release of the Toolset Views Lite plugin. It comes with basic features found in the complete Toolset Views plugin. Additionally, some advanced features like custom search and pagination are limited in this Lite version."

Does 2.6.2 have the wrong description and changelog or was I about to downgrade to a lite version of Views?

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

That should be the case. If you have the full version then you shouldn't be updated to a lite version.

Could you try updating to views 2.6.2 and see if that resolves the issue for you.

It looks like the changelog and details were just incorrect. I see that the links to the description and changelog don't work any longer. The plugin update to version 2.6.2.
