Using the updater I am getting this message across a number of sites: Update package not available. ()

The only way to fix it is to manually upload (after removing Types folder you can do it via the plugin upload).

I tried reauthenticating, deleting the site form the authenticator etc.

Hi Stuart

There have been a few outages of toolset.com this morning and I also saw that when trying to update plugins on a registered test site it failed several times to connect to our servers, so it looks like there may be some intermittent connection issues.

Can you try again in an hour or so, and if it doesn't resolve itself report back and I will follow it up and involve our systems team if needs be...

Same issue - unregistered and registered again. seems to lose my registration then I can update anything

"then I can update anything"

Sorry, unregistered and registered again and then? It works now, and the problem is being obliged to un-register and re-register?

Or that's a typo and it still doesn't work at all (same issue with update package not available)?

Yea. Typo. It appears to still be an issue. Thanks Nigel

Can I double-check which site it is you are having this problem with, and can I get credentials to access the site admin?

I've marked your next reply as private.

Hi Stuart

I took a copy of your site to see if the problem occurred only on your server or when installed on mine, too, and I got the same error.

I've passed it on to my colleagues so that they can try and get to the bottom of this, and I'll update you.

I have this issue, too.

[UPDATE] When I deactivate and delete the plugin, and upload a newly downloaded version from my account, the installation fails. The only way I have found as a workaround is to download from the WP plugin repository, and then update that version. I wonder if the users having the problem are customers who have the deprecated lifetime license, as I am. I've noted similar issues in the forums where the most common factor is the fact that the users are lifetime customers. Wonder if there's a hiccup in the licensing there, since lifetime licenses are no longer available?

I am also a lifetime customer and experiencing the same problem.

Anyone experiencing this issue, the likely cause is that you also have WPML installed and an older version of Types, and the installer code from WPML is erroneously being used. This is fixed in more recent versions of Types, but you need to get the current version of Types installed on your site.

To do that you will need to
- download the zip file from toolset.com/account/downloads
- from your plugins page delete Types (it will delete the plugin only, not its data)
- on the Add new plugins page upload the zip file to install the latest version of Types

With that you shouldn't see any further issues.
