Update Failed: Forbidden when trying to update Toolset Types

This support ticket is created 4 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have registered Toolset Types and Toolset Views on my site. I have successfully updated Toolset Views. But I got an error when updating Toolset Types -- it said, "Update Failed: Forbidden."

I could try deactivating and deleting Types and then installing and activating the latest version, but I need to know if I'll lose any data associated with Types before I do that. Can you let me know if it's OK to delete and then reinstall Types?
