I am trying to: Diplay a view loop
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: only in the backend
Instead, I got: When editing the page, the update-button is greyed out.
I acivated debug mode and got the output below.
I got the same issue on another development webiste too.
It only happens when using a toolset view.
Please look into it, since i already got a complaint from a client who is unable to update the page.

Hi Daniel,
The debug info you shared should not have anything to do with the issue as those are deprecation notices and do not affect the overall work if the WordPress installation.
The button being disabled is a possible issue of a Javascript in the dashboard.
Would you please check to see if the same thing happens in a minimal installation?
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except Toolset and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.
The reason behind the steps above is to determine if Toolset works with no other plugin or theme intervention, if yes, then the steps above will determine which plugin causes the compatibility issue with Toolset that in turn causes the button to be disabled.

i deactivated all plugins on the existing website and reactivated them one by one.
The issue starts when activating the generate-blocks plugin.
There seems to be some sort of compatibility issue. As soon as i add the first gp-container to a page with a view, the update button is greyed out.

Thank you. So this seems to be a compatibility issue between Toolset and GenerateBlocks plugin.
To be able to report the compatibility issues we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress and Toolset.

- Install GenerateBlocks plugin
- Add a page and replicate the issue of the Update button being disabled.
This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.

thanks! I tried it and when i do i change inside the view component, the update button works again.
Please keep in mind, on at least 3 of my websites using toolset views, this problem happens.
Not only when i drag and drop:
When i want to edit the website, the button is greyed out after a few seconds.
I guess, when the toolset-scripts have loaded.
This makes site-editing quite painful.
Also I have clients who will not be able to edit something inside the view so that the update button works again.
Will this issue be resolved by your devs?

As there is a workaround for this and it is a compatibility issue with the GenerateBlocks plugin which might need the input of that plugin developers, I want to mention that it might take time and there is no guarantee for a fix.
But I reported this to the compatibility team.
