Update 3.5 breaks post search in Views

This support ticket is created 3 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I have a view wich filters by a lot of fields and also has a "post search" filter.

This filter search on title, content and custom fields. It works with Relevanssi.

However, when I updated Views to version 3.5 the filter search only on Title and Content and I can't edit it any more.

See attached screenshots for "before" and "after".

Unfortunately, at the moment I am unable to test the plugin with all the others deactivated because this is a client's live site.

Where in changelog I see the following entry:

Fixed a regression for the Relevanssi integration on searches.

Can you please try to update ALL Toolset plugins to latest official release version and check if that help you to resolve our issue:

I was already using version 3.5.2.

Today I noticed an update to version 3.5.3 and the changelog says:

Fixed a regression on text frontend search filters set to only search on post titles.

So I updated the plugin but the problem still exists even with version 3.5.3 and all other plugins updated.

If you still having the issue using 3.5.3 I will require to check whats going on with your setup.

Can you please share problem URL and tell me with what option (only title, title and content or title content and custom field) you would like to see it working.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
