This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to translate login buttons for wordpress using WPML

Solution:

The best place to go to for issue with Translation is our WPML forums https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/

They are better able to assist you with this than we can here at toolset.

after months of working with the Toolset plugins, I bought WPML to translate into several languages.
Unfortunately I have to tell you that the translation seems easy but in practice translating cred modules, layouts: login, etc. and view: searches - they are complex.

you should tell those of WPML to create a simple and practical product for ALL not just for programmers.

thank you and sorry for the trouble!

thanks Shane, you're very kind. All the Toolset staff: Christian, Nigel, Minesh, Beda and you have always helped me. Keep it up !

Unfortunately, the support of the WPML Forum is not fast and attentive like this.
I have some steps that I have to understand in order to translate in full autonomy.

1 - problem with the View: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/views-are-missing/
2 - problem with Login: https://wpml.org/it/forums/topic/pagina-login-non-si-vede-pagina-registrati-layout-sbagliato/
3- how to translate some parts of the CRED module (see attached image)
4- I want to translate my site into many languages, is there a wasy to put - let's say in favorites - only the parts that I have to translate, without having to search all the strings every time?

thank

I followed this guide to translate my views: https://toolset.com/documentation/translating-sites-built-with-toolset/wpml-string-shortcode/

now I understood why I did not see the views in WPML strings.

the problem remains with LOGIN and SIGNUP

Hi Massimo,

I'm happy I can be of assistance.

The Login and Sign up were these created with toolset ?

Could I see the pages that these are on ?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Massimo,

Awesome these forms seems to be the default ones that WordPress uses and are placed on the page using the views form shortcodes.

I believe these are translated using the wpml string translations module.

Would you mind if I logged in and took a look ?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Massimo,

You can translate the login text by going here
hidden link

Just look for each login text and translate it.

Similarly you can search for the sign up text by using the search bar in the string translation.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane

Shane, believe me I translated everything!
I looked for all the possible strings.
I do not like to open post and take away time, I like being independent.
unfortunately when you try everything and you can not then I ask for help.

Hi Massimo,

What you can try which sometimes work is to delete the string and then do a rescan of wordpress by refreshing the page.

Then searching for the text and re-translate it.

Thanks,
Shane
