uninstall toolset

This support ticket is created 2 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I got a programmer to do most of the programming on the site so it doesn't use Toolset except for a custom post I created with I have several hundred posts in. If I uninstall toolset will I lose the custom post setup and the posts I created??

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hi Glen,

Thank you for getting in touch.

You won't lose the post data itself as this is stored in the database, however you won't be able to access the posts given that Toolset Types is what was used to create the post type so this allows the Post Type itself to show up on your backend and frontend.

It is essentially allowing wordpress to find the posts.
