Hi Christian, Yes, that helped!
Finally I can use those pages again. (Had to customize and hand code most of those pages)

But, when is it usefull to leave that box unchecked? What does it do?
I mean, why not set this in the background?

Hi Jim,

As Christian is currently on vacation, I will be having a look at this ticket for him.

The content_filter() option on Layouts visual editor cells is a debug feature in the even that your theme renders the visual editor content multiple times.

In the end the solution was very easy. But to get there it took a long time and I had to build many workarounds to get the site to show the pages without duplications.
Still not sure if this is/was a 'bug' from toolset or the other plugin.

Really happy to find that you did not forget about me and fixed it in the end!
Thanks
