[Resolved] Unable to Update Toolset types and views after entering my new key

This support ticket is created 4 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I entered my new subscription key and tried to update but toolset types and views failed to update. i got "failed" response.
please kindly help as this is very urgent as on a live site.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I see you are using really outdated Toolset plugin and that is causing the issue as that has really old installer.

I should advise you to update Toolset Types plugins manually using plugins page for now:
- deactivate and delete all current Toolset plugins
- download the latest Toolset Types plugin from your accounts page:

- Upload and activate the Types plugin from the plugins page
- Try to use commercial tab to update all other plugins

this error is preventing some of my site pages from displaying all content.
please can guide me on how to enable content layout as default editor?
