[Resolved] Unable to update toolset plugins

This support ticket is created 5 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am unable to update toolset plugins. It happens from time to time. Sometimes the problem goes away but this has been going on for a few weeks now.

Please see this screenshot. Its in Danish but you will get the picture, and perhaps have seen this behavior before.

Hi Henrik

From the error message I can see in your screenshots I can tell you that this is a specific issue that occurred with the version of Installer included in Types 3.2.5.

It didn't affect all users (depends on server settings), but for those it did there is unfortunately no alternative but to manually update Types, which should then restore the normal installer functionality.

So on your plugins page delete the current version of Types.

Download the current version from toolset.com/account/downloads

On the Add new plugins page upload the zip file and activate Types.
