[Resolved] Unable to Update Toolset. Asking for ElegantThemes Divi Credentials

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user is trying to update his plugins however in trying to update he is greeted by a message saying that Elegant themes need a valid subscription

Solution:

Apparently this is some conflict of some sort. What I recommend that you do is to temporarily switch the theme and try again.

I can't run updates for Toolset. I'm being asked for ET Divi credentials (which have already been set). Divi has already been updated.

Hi Ed,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

What you can do is to swap the theme and try updating the plugins, even though I don't see why it is required for you to have a subscription from another product to update ours.

Would you mind providing me with access to the site so that I can create a copy to escalate to our 2nd tier supporters?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Ed,

It seems this is a private server.

Could you let me know the credentials for that so that I can access the site to log into the backend?

Thanks,
Shane

It's not a private server.

Oh, geez. I'm so sorry. That's just added security. Can you set me up with a private reply, so I can give you the credentials?

Hi Ed,

I tried these but still no luck.

Could you check them on your end and let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Which set isn't working, the initial security or the WP login?

I just tried them in Chrome (where they aren't saved). They worked.

Hi Ed,

I was able to see the issue, However it wasn't complaining about a divi subscription like with your screenshot.

Usually with this error about "Update Package Not Found" we would recommend performing a manual update of the plugins through FTP by downloading it from the link below.

OK, thanks. I'll give that a shot.

You probably didn't get the Divi message, because I already switched themes.
