[Resolved] Unable to update pages while types plugin is active

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Update Page/Post button is not working while Types is active.

Solution:
- Please do not assign assign Post Field Groups to all post types.
- I changed Post Type selection for specific CPT so it only applies to selected CPT. Screenshot here:

I am trying to: Update a page by clicking the update button and it goes to the inactive mode and not able to update the page due to types plugin. But once I have deactivated the types plugin I'm able to update pages properly. I have also tried with different themes but same result.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I have logged-in to your site and see the issue.

1. Please try to check it by deactivating all third-party plugins and switching back to the Default Theme (e.g. Twenty Seventeen theme) to see for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

2. I have noticed that Toolset server requirements are not same as required. Can you please try to upgrade MySQL and PHP version and see if it resolves the issue? You can see the minimum Toolset requirements here: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/
- MySQL 5.5.54 version in your site, is lower than the required for Toolset.
- PHP version is 5.4.45 which is good, but it is advised to use more up-to-date version for better performance and stability. You can contact your website hosting company to upgrade this for you.

Thank you

Hi,

I have tried both the steps that you have mentioned but not working. I have tried testing the project in the localhost with proper requirements still not working

I have resolved the issue, you actually assigned Post Field Groups to all post types (including Pages and Posts) whereas you don’t need it to assign to all post types like this. So I have changed Post Type selection for specific CPT so it only applies to selected CPT -- see attached screenshots.

Updated Post Field Group:

You can check Update page and confirm it. Thank you
