[Resolved] Unable to reply Message

This support ticket is created 2 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello Shane,

As you know about the last issue in the messaging system, which was resolved and was working well, unfortunately, I am facing the same issue where there tutors are not able to see or reply to their message in My Accounts Page.

You can check Brian account as well, Its showing same error for all tutors.

Please have a look & fix this issue for me again. also do let me know about this issue & why its happening.

Hi Sid,

Thanks for the login details. I took a look at this for you and found that the issue was with the Access permissions for the Message post type for the "Amelia Employee" role.

For some reason the user role didn't have Read access to the post type. To check this you can go to Toolset -> Access Control -> Post Types and scroll to messages.

From here you can check which roles have read access to your messages post type.
