[Resolved] Unable to register: Site key not matching subscription-fetching

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I am having an issue where the Toolset plugin shows a notice stating it cannot connect to toolset.com, likely due to network or security settings blocking outgoing communication.

Solution:

I should ensure I am logged in to toolset.com, then go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab) to unregister and re-register Toolset using the provided steps, and if the issue persists, contact my hosting provider to whitelist api.toolset.com and cloudfront.net.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I'm getting the following notice on the plugin page backend:

Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com
Toolset needs to connect to its server to check for new releases and security updates. Something in the network or security settings is preventing this. Please allow outgoing communication to toolset.com to remove this notice.

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support. Would you please test the steps below?

- Make sure that you are logged in toolset.com.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab)".
- Click the Unregister Toolset link.
- Click the "Register Toolset" at the right section of the screen.
- Click the "Get a key for this site" link
- A new page will open up and the auto-generated key will show in pop-up.
- Copy the key and paste it into the "Site Key" input box annotated in the screenshot below.
- Click the "OK" button.

See if it fixes the issue.

If not, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to whitelist the following domains:

api.toolset.com
cloudfront.net

Thanks.
