Tell us what you are trying to do? - I'm trying to place a pattern created originally in content template for a view into an archive loop. Here's what I've done.

I've created a custom post type and a connected view to pull the three most recent articles onto the homepage. When building the View, I clicked "Edit with Block Editor" from the loop item area under "Templates for this View". In the Content Template, I created a container, added info, and styled it. Then I right clicked on the stacked three dots for the container and clicked "Create pattern". The container became a pattern in the content template as indicated by the purple outline.

Then, I went to create the archive . I clicked Dashboard >create archive>completed the wizard (Pagination and Search, using the grid layout from "Select WordPress Archive Loop Style"). I verified the appropriate custom post type was checked and selected the taxonomy attach to this post type. My goal at this point is to add the previously create pattern to the archive loop in the WordPress Archive editor. I clicked "Add Block" in loop preview area and selected "Patterns". The page does what looks to be an Ajax reload with "processing server request, please wait..." in the bottom right corner (PatternAddfromLoop.jpg). I then tried clicking on the blue plus sign > Patterns > My Patterns > the name of the newly create pattern. This adds the pattern below loop for about 2 seconds before it disappears without page refresh. (PatternAddfromTopPlus.jpg) I also attempted to drop and drop the pattern into the loop. Neither works.

To eliminate any plugin and/or theme conflicts, I enabled only Toolset Types & Blocks on a clean install of the Twenty Twenty Five theme and followed the same steps as outlined above. I get the same results.

The next test I tried was creating the pattern in the archive loop first. When I do this, I am able to then dd the pattern to a content template for a view. This is a work around for the time being, but there are many times I will create a pattern in an archive (because it's the only place it will be used) that will need to be used on another archive. Example: I might create a pattern as a starting point for a WordPress Archive Search block so the searches look the same for all archives.

Is there any documentation that you are following? - I am unable to find any documentation relating to this issue.

Is there a similar example that we can see? - This issue is happening on multiple websites I work on.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

We have a known issue when view is used and pattern is created from inside view's loop.

The issue is already escalated, please hold on for further update, please note that there is no ETA when the official fix will made available. For now I suggest you should try to use workaround without using pattern.
