Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to completely hide the toolset menu from a webmaster role. Through access, I can remove everything but access to types. How do I remove types?
Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cant-hide-toollset-in-dashboard-menu/ also other posts suggesting variations on this
Is there a similar example that we can see?
What is the link to your site?
hidden link
Hi Johanna,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Are you referring to the Toolset menu item on the admin section on the left sidebar?
For additional clarity can you send me a screenshot of the section that you want to hide ? As well as the slug of the user role?
Thanks,
Shane
Yes, as per my post, the normal admin menu on the left. It appears to be a common problem judging by the number of posts.
I don't believe it warrants a screen shot. It is quite self explanatory
I would like a solution
Hi Johanna,
The only way to remove this without any coding is to disable the manage options permissions under General Capabilities. See Screenshot
Once you've disabled this the menu item should no longer appear.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
