An error occurred while updating Toolset Types: Download failed. Forbidden
This is the only plugin I'm having issues with. It repeatedly fails with a Forbidden message.
I reached to our Systems team and I am still waiting for their feedback. In the meantime, I'd like to ask for your website credentials. I would like to try the update and take the Installer log, I am sure they will ask for it. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **
Support Team: This website contains Protected Health Information so I cannot provide administrative access to the site. I am willing to complete any troubleshooting steps you provide or share logs as necessary. I understand this complicates things and I am not trying to be difficult.
Can you confirm my licensing is correct and that you see no errors on your end?
I understand. I also confirm that there is a site key registered for your domain name, and It appears to work from the screenshot of the installer log.
I might suspect that the issue happens because all plugins are updated before Toolset Types. Please try the following:
- Deactivate all the Toolset plugins except the Toolset Types plugin.
- Try again to update it.
- If it fails, you may want to update it manually. Download it from your account page https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ and upload it as if you install a new plugin manually. WordPress has started supporting updates manually.
Oddly all were already deactivated. So I reactivated them, tried again - no luck, then deactivated them all again - still no luck.
I did note that the current version is 3.4.5 and it wants to bring me to 3.4.7. Should it normally update 2 versions or was this the only update from 3.4.5?
In the meantime I will attempt a manual update.

There were two updates, 3.4.6 then 3.4.7, but you don't need to perform two manual updates. Just upload the latest one directly. Those are minor updates and do not contain breaking changes.
Manual update "worked" (files uploaded without issues). It is showing activated. No known issue at this time. The original issue of automatic updates is still not resolved, but I can't imagine I'm the only one with that complaint so I am OK with closing this ticket as resolved as I am sure you will continue to work on any reports of automatic updates failing due to an access denied message on your end. Thank you for your help!
