I am trying to open the settings page but i get a 504 error.
After disabling all plugins except for TS plugins (types, views, access) the page loads (slowly) and shows errors in console (see image).
How to fix this?

Hi Marc

Seems like my first reply was lost.

I installed a copy of your site locally and narrowed the problem down to Relevanssi.

With just Relevanssi and Types active, the Toolset settings page is very sluggish or doesn't load at all.

Using the Query Monitor plugin I saw that over 8000 queries were being run on the page, which is clearly not right.

I've escalated this and my colleagues will dig deeper, and I'll let you know what they find.

Hi Marc

My colleague identified a number of queries run on the settings page that we perhaps don't need to that may slow things down on a large site with a lot of custom fields, which is exacerbated by Relevanssi. He has passed that on to the developers, and that means them reviewing the code to confirm what can be removed or any other changes that need making, so that will take some time.

There isn't a workaround in the meantime other than temporarily disabling Relevanssi when you need to access the settings page.

Ok, thanks, that workaround will do the job for now.
If you have any news; let me know.
Have a good day!

Hi Marc

As reported in another thread, Types 3.3 has been released, and should result in improvements for this issue on the Toolset settings page.

Let me know how you get on.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
