add new parent.png
edit existing Parent.png

I'm sure it's something I've done; but I've done it so often with the same results that I'm stuck.
I create a type (Parent).
I create a field group (Parent Info)
I create one record.
All is good.
I create another type (Player)
I create a field group (Player Info)
I create one record.
All is good.

UNTIL, I want to edit the Parent record.
Then, a Player Info field group appears merged with the Parent Info field group and I cannot save the revised Parent record because of the incomplete but required Player fields.
No, I did not try to associate the two post types; though that is the plan.

If I add a new Parent record, then the Player and Parent Info groups appear separately.

I've tried this on several different sites with new databases; same result.

Thanks for any help.

Dear Bob,

If you did not assigned Player Info fields group into Parent post type, so it sounds like a bug. Can I access your site? The private area is enabled, please fill required fields.

Similar problem with connected types when adding Parent. Player (child) fields appear even upon new Parent with no children added:

Thanks for your help.

Tried on a different subdomain.
Only plugin activated is Types.
3 custom post types (Parent, Player, Coach) with 2 required fields for each type.
When entering new Parent or Player or Coach, the fields for all 3 types show.
d5.evangelapps.com (same login as others; if you need ftp access, let me know).
Thanks.

Dear Bob,

You must choose the post type of the group fields. Otherwise, all custom fields will be displayed in all post types. See the section you must configure in attach.

Adriano,
Thank you so much for pointing out my error.
I need to use Toolset more often.
If you haven't already, take the rest of the day off.
