Hi, we've got a bunch of relationships set up where we connect people and partners, or people and podcasts. In the edit post admin area where the connections are added, it shows all of the custom fields and their data. Some of the fields are really long, like podcast episode transcripts, and there's a lot of scrolling to see the next connected person when these are showing. Is there a way to hide or truncate this text? We don't need to be able to see all of this here. I tried some php but it didn't affect it, and I don't see anywhere to change it in the toolset relationship. Here's an example of how my 'podcast-guests' relationship is showing for each person.
thanks for your help!
I haven't added the url because the view is on the admin side, but you should be able to see in the screenshot. It's on our staging site.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
There is no option to truncate text and make is shortcode within the relationship box column for specified field.
The workaround would be - With your screenshot you shared, just beside the "Connect Existing podcast" button you see the wheel icon, once you click on that you will be able to check/uncheck what fields you want to display with the post-relationship box.
