Hi - I created a custom field group with a number of fields including a repeatable field group. I set the field group to appear on a post type called Services. I realised that I had set it for the wrong post type (the custom fields should be on a different post type called Child Services) However when I went to change this I got an error message saying I couldn't switch the post type when the custom field group had a repeatable field

I deleted the repeatable fields so I could switch post type meaning to recreating it after. When I tried to recreate the repeatable field group I got the error message slug is already in use. Indicating that the field had not been permanently deleted. I can't see a trashed option or anywhere this custom field might be stored. How do I permanently delete it?

Thanks

Hi Stewart,

Thank you for getting in touch.

The custom fields that are not being use can be doing by going to Toolset -> Custom Fields -> Post Field Control.

Once you've clicked this button at the bottom of the Custom Fields page it will take you to a page where you can see all your custom fields.

Just search for the field you want and delete it permanently from there.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane
