Hi Olivier

The site looks familiar.

Do I have this right?

The page you linked to is a static WP page with a search View added that displays artists.

Your WPML settings are such that it is only showing artists for which there is an English translation available (two posts).

Choosing a filter updates the page but loses the language parameter (meaning many more posts are shown because they are in the original language).

Is that correct?

(I'm enjoying listening to the tracks while checking the site 🙂 )

Hi Nigel,
Thank you, yes that's exactly it 😉

Hi Olivier

Could you show me the View settings, specifically the settings for the browser history management?

Hi Olivier

Thanks for that. You are not overwriting the global settings in that View, could you show me the global settings?

Go to Toolset > Settings > Front-end Content. It is the browser history management settings I need to see.

OK, thanks Olivier

We already have reports of something similar, but your case appears different according to the settings you have shown me, so I'm going to need a copy of the site for testing and escalating.

I see you have All in One WP Migration installed, could you please make a backup and share it via a dropbox link or similar here. Be sure to exclude your media library, it's not required and will reduce the file size.

Thanks Nigel,
There is a link to download th back-up make with All in One WP Migration :

Hi Olivier

I installed a copy of your site. I note that you are using outdated plugins (I updated them on my copy) and that you are using a custom theme with an unusual template structure, with the View inserted directly in the PHP template.

To rule out that this was the cause of the issue I switched to twentyseventeen and inserted the View directly in the page and I saw the same issue.

So I have escalated this so that it can be investigated further, and I'll keep you posted.

Hey, this is Beda, I'll help you with this.

I personally debugged this problem that Nigel referred to as "known", and on the duplicate, I received of your site, I see the exact same issue as I discovered back then, which is a mere cosmetics issue.

On your site, I see something completely different - results change, and that is not what is expected even considering the BUG I already know of.

However, on the Site's Duplicate, I cannot see the issue as it is on your site, but this may as well be due to the fact that the duplicate seems to be a somewhat simplified version of your site.

First, I'd like to ask you if you can perform a few tests in settings.
- Activate "Filtrage de langues pour les opérations AJAX" in WPML > Languages
- Make sure your View's Query is not corrupt, as on the duplicate I received, I saw that some (category) custom filters where not added to the Query filter, hence broken, hence I removed them and re-saved the entire View.

Then, if you have the chance, please check this issue with no other plugins but Toolset and WPML.
Please as well ensure that your Theme is updated, and not customized, for these tests.

If all this does not help, please can you grant me access to the site where I could make changes?
This will require a test site, or the very least, a very good backup of the live site - although it would be safer to work on staging site.

I believe this should be replicable locally but I cannot spot how.
Eventually, I can see the missing part on your site once I log in, or I can fix it right there.

Where is the problem visible now?
Seems the original link has no more Search?
hidden link

Can you outline the steps you did as by my last recommendations, and where can see the issue, edit the view, and the content related to it?

#912293

the problem is still here, your link is not good, here is the good link hidden link.
The view name is "Label_artists_vue"

I cant't work with that user.
It seems to not be a Administrator, I cannot see any thing but the post edit screens.

Can you upgrade my user, so I can see the Edit Screens of Toolset and more?

Hi Breda,
i upgraded the user role, it's ok now.
Thanks a lot
Olivier
