Tell us what you are trying to do?
Render Toolset Fields (in a repeater) in a view in other languages.
What is the link to your site?
Look at the "Certificates" section:
Working: hidden link
Not Working: hidden link, hidden link and others
Hello dear support team,
the problem is mainly that I only get the fields displayed in the other languages when I call up the post in the backend in the other languages. Then the fields seem to be copied into the post. Saving the post is not necessary, calling it up is sufficient. I have tested this with DE/DA...
For the fields I have selected "copy" in WPML, so they should remain in sync with the main language.
If the post is not opened in the backend, the loop displays "no items found".
Even if I change something in the main language, it is not automatically synchronised but I have to open the other languages in the backend.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Can you please share admin access details and let me check whats going wrong with your setup.
In addition to that - Can you please tell me what fields are not working or get translated on frontend?
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I see you have Kinsta cache and I deleted all cache.
I've also disabled the Autoptimize plugin.
After I delete the cache I can see the field.
- hidden link
In addition to that - I see many plugins are outdated and I'm not sure why Toolset Layouts plugin is active on your install. If you are not using please disable that.
- Please update ALL plugins to latest version as well as WordPress.
The staging is outdated, on live the plugins are up to date. Irrespective of this, it is unfortunately not yet working. I have now tried several times to create a new field, delete it, create it again etc. and see if it is displayed on the DE page. Even after deleting the cache several times it does not work. Can you please test this again?
My procedure:
- open hidden link in the backend -> delete certificates if available, create a new one -> save -> clear all cache
- call hidden link only in the frontend -> field should be there but the field is missing.
Hi and thanks for the suggestion but the site is built completely differently so I have updated our staging. All plugins are now up to date. Kinsta cache is switched off.
Unfortunately, the problem persists. Can you please have another look
I'm not sure whats going on with your staging site or I do not know history of that of changes made on your site.
- open hidden link in the backend -> delete certificates if available, create a new one -> save -> clear all cache

I've done that and added new 3 entries in backend:
- hidden link
I can see those newly added items on English language:
- hidden link
Then, when I switch to German language - I see "no items found" message:
So, I navigate to translated (German) post in admin to see if newly added items are copy to German post or not, I found that it was available there:
- hidden link
I just click on "Update" button and then I try to load the German language - I can see the items are displayed now on German language as well:
- hidden link
This is unlike the sandbox site I shared where I do not use Elementor where the repeating field group displayed on translated version of pot without any issues.
Hi Minesh, thanks for testing. Unfortunately, the instructions don't help me as everything is set up correctly. Is there an incompatibility between Toolset and Elementor regarding the repeatable fields? We can't rebuild all the pages, we use Elementor, Toolset and WPML and can't suddenly switch.
What is the best way forward? It would be nice to find a solution here.
Here is a sandbox site and you can auto-login to it using the following link:
- hidden link
Can you please use above sandbox site and add Elementor plugin and try to build Elementor template as you did with your site and check if you able to reproduce the issue?
