Dear Sir/Madam,
My site has only one language, Traditional Chinese. I change the WP to Traditional Chinese and it changes the site language without 3rd translation plugins like WPML.
I refer to https://toolset.com/forums/topic/how-to-edit-form-default-message-value/, if I have many forms to be created, it is quite a time consuming to change all message to my language, does Toolset has its .mo file or suggested script to translate all message?
Can gettext() able to help? How can I do it?
Best regards,
Kelvin.
Hi Kelvin,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Do you have our WPML string translations plugin installed ? You should be able to translate these texts with the WPML string translation plugin.
Thanks,
Shane
Dear Shane,
No, I don't have this site with WPML as the site has only one language? I assume WPML is used for the multi-language environment.
Best regards,
Kelvin
Hi Kelvin,
It is used for multilingual environments but you can use it to translate the items.
You don't need to be building a multilingual site to use it. For your case you will only need to use it to translate the component in Toolset Forms.
If you choose not to use WPML then you will need to add the translations to each instance of your form that is created.
Thanks,
Shane
Dear Shane,
Will toolset considers having the .po file like other plugins? If yes, is there any ETA?
Best regards,
Kelvin.
Hi Kelvin,
At this point I highly doubt that because it is possible to do the translations with WPML.
However you can try creating your own po file by following the instructions in the link below .
