I am trying to: Maybe it is not the right session to post this issue but I find your support getting difficult and not easy to access for not pros like me. I tried to Update Toolset Types and Views in my staging Siteground website which URL I alread registered into my account but cannot go ahead. It's 8 years I'm a member (paying every year the service) but this ist's the first time I get into this problem. Saying the true is a long time that I'm not updating my staging website

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: in the image

I expected to see: That it just works

Instead, I got: Toolsey Key Not Valid

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch.

This error generally occurs when you've migrated your site and the url changes and your Toolset plugins can no longer validate with our servers.

To check if your plugins are able to validate correctly you will need to go to Toolset -> Dashboard, then click on help in the top right hand corner. Select the Toolset Debug tab then click "Toolset Debug Information and Troubleshooting"

From there you will be taken to the Toolset Debug information. Scroll down on the page until you see the link for "Installer Support". Click this link.

You should now be able to see your site validation information. If you're see "Toolset site key not matching for hidden link" then you will need to regenerate your site as the URL may have changed and your key isn't validating for the current URL.

The best way to generate the site key is by following the instructions in the link below.
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-types-plugin-installed

Paying close attention to step 3.

Once you've done this go to Dashboard -> Updates and click Check Again and the warning notice should no longer appear.

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you for your detailed info but I'm still in trouble.

As the screenshot shows the problem seem to be that I'm using an expired account of Toolset.

But if my account is valid, as it wil last for 5 months from now, already included the staging URL in my account (it is a staging subdomain) how can I solve?

Hi Massimo,

Based on the screenshot you're trying to add the registration to the WPML section.

If you scroll down on this page you will see the Toolset registration section. Your newly generated key should be placed here.

Thanks,
Shane
