[Resolved] Toolset works on wordpress org?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The user would like to migrate from WordPress.comm hosting and would like to know if he can still use Toolset with a self-hosted installation.

Solution:
You can use Toolset plugins in any WordPress installation. The plugins are not available in the WordPress.org repository because they are not free. You can only download them from our website, or using our Installer once you have Toolset Types installed and activated and your site registered.

The following article explains the difference between wordpress.org and wordpress.com https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/self-hosted-wordpress-org-vs-free-wordpress-com-infograph/

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

You can use Toolset plugins in any WordPress installation. The plugins are not available in the WordPress.org repository because they are not free. You can only download them from our website, or using our Installer once you have Toolset Types installed and activated and your site registered.

I would like to explain the difference between wordpress.org and wordpress.com, but this article does it better hidden link

In conclusion, yes, you can use Toolset plugins with a self-hosted WordPress installation, or an installation in a WordPress hosting service than wordpress.com.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any questions.
