This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there,

We have just started, on a new site, working with posts however there is no sign of Post Categories and Tags.

Have we done something without realizing, or does Toolset somehow disable this?

We are using Elementor and from what we can tell, Categories and Tags should be visible in the Admin dropdown.
Having used only Divi in the past we are going on the assumption something isn't right somewhere and thought we'd check with Toolset.

Hi Pete,

Thank you for getting in touch.

The issue here could be that you've deactivated them in Types.

You can check this by going to Toolset->Taxonomies and check if the taxonomies are disabled.

Ok, it wasn't activated. I have done so, however it still isn't appearing for us to use?

Am I still missing something?

Hi Pete,

Thank you for the screenshot.

I see the issue. The Taxonomies are not set to be available on the default post type.

If you edit the taxonomy and under the option "Post Types to be used with this Taxonomy" you should ensure that "Post" is checked.
