[Resolved] Toolset Views suddenly stopped making featured image thumbnails

When a custom post is written the post is given a featured image which is saved in the uploads folder eg

and the toolset plugin makes a thumbnail, in this case

which it uses when displaying the post.

However we are now not getting this thumbnail created, and so we are not getting the featured image displayed.

eg a new Article post was created with featured image

but the thumbnail

was not created. It just happened a week or so ago.

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please share problem URL and admin access details and tell me with what post/post you need to display what size thumbnail.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

First of all, please create a staging/test site where we can test this and do not run any test on your production site.

what if you rollback the plugins - do you see it working? if yes, can you please share the difference (screenthot) how it looks like with old plugins and current version?

I see some glitch, when I try to add featured image and try to select the thumbnail size all thumbnail size shows zero. Please check the uploaded screenshot to the following link:

Staging site is hidden link

You will need to login.

Rollback of Toolset Views did not fix the problem.

I can't see anything on LW. I did register.

One thing that might help you is the following error message:

There must be issue with your server or image related operation. Seems likely permission issue.

As I just created brand new sandbox site and you can auto-login to it using the following link:

I've created a boot post type and here is a test post where I've uploaded the featured image:

And I've created the following single post book content template:

Where I've added the same shortcode:

Hi there
[wpv-post-featured-image size="custom" width="855" height="500" crop="true"]

And I can see on frontend it does display the correct image:

Can you please check with your hosting authority and check with them why the featured image not get displayed on frontend.

Hello Minesh,

I can see you have uploaded a file
Audi_Screen_Saver-5644.jpg and that Toolset Blocks has created a thumbnail
Audi_Screen_Saver-5644-wpv_855x500_center_center.jpg

I am using Toolset Views not Toolset Blocks.
Do you think that I should run Toolset Blocks as well?
Is there any other way I could force the regeneration of the thumbnails needed for Toolset?
