Hi,
I have created a CPT called 'Resources' and a custom Taxonomy called 'Content Types'.
In 'Content Types', I have these terms: Video, PDF, Word Doc
I am using the Toolset Views to create a parametric search with filters. This will be a 'Select Multiple' type of control, and I want to order the options in this specific order: Video, PDF, Word Doc
But in the options sorting, there are only these options: Name, ID , Count, Slug, Group, None.
How can I order my terms in that specific order?
Thank you!
Hi there,
I think using the SLUG ordering should do the trick, but if not, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.
Make sure you set the next reply as private.
Also please tell me which view and content template to check and if you can give me a screenshot of the section in question that will be awesome.
Thanks.
Hi Christopher,
Thank you for your response! I did managed to find a way to sort the terms in an order that I want.
From the sorting option, I selected 'None', so it will use the order from my custom taxonomy list. Then I installed the 'Simple Custom Post Order' plugin to reorder the terms in the taxonomy page.
Thanks!
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
