Hi
I am having some problems using Toolset with other plugins that I use.

Since the last updates, the text contained in custom fields created with types are no longer recognized in the analysis made by the Yoast plugin. I got closer to yoast support, but apparently the problem does not come from their plugin.

I applied the recommended method but it does not work. Could you help me

thank you

Kind Regards

The problem was prompted by a Yoast update (14.6) which broke the Types integration.

We are aware of the problem and are working to fix the issue on our end, even though it reflects a change in Yoast.

As a workaround you can try editing a post in the backend, going to the Screen Options tab and making sure that the UI for native custom fields is exposed, and then you may find that Yoast picks up the custom field values directly from the underlying values stored in wp_postmeta rather than from the explicit Types integration.

hi nigel
Thank you for your reply. The only solution that seems to work tentatively is to copy / paste the text from the custom fields into the native wordpress text. For now we'll do it like this. When do you think you will find a solution to the problems?
thank you

You could also downgrade Yoast to 14.5, it was version 14.6 that introduced the problem.

The current dev cycle is focused on bug fixes, and this should hopefully be included in the cycle even though it's a compatibility issue, but that means a fix could still be a few weeks away.

I suggest you follow this erratum where any further news will be shared (including if a patch becomes available): https://toolset.com/errata/yoast-stopped-analysing-types-custom-fields-with-14-6-update/
